Rob Lee

Rob Lee is a PhD student in Archaeology at the University of Southampton. His research is focused on wood crafting in Britain during the Late Bronze Age, examining its influence on technical innovation in bronze tool types and morphologies. He draws on personal experience of working with wood, combined with multi-discipline approaches to the notion of craft, and analysis of changes to types and forms of metal tools during the period, in order to characterise the nature of wood crafting activity and its relationship with tool design and use in his research areas of Southern and Eastern England.
