Sarah Coxon is a PhD student in archaeology at the University of Southampton, from which she also graduated with BA (Hons) in Archaeology in 2009 and an MA with distinction in Ceramics and Lithics Analysis in 2010. Funded by the project, her PhD explores creativity within the crafting of Bronze Age funerary urns in Croatia and Serbia. Her research documents the ways in which creativity played out in the making of these vessels and investigates this within its wider social context.
